Puppy yoga in Vancouver: Choose your class.
Vancouver's Gastown studio.
We're the original Pups&Yoga in Vancouver â part of the ten-city Pups&Yoga network, not a one-off lookalike. The studio is in Gastown on Powell Street, a short walk from Chinatown, downtown, and the Waterfront SkyTrain.
The studio is a real yoga space, not a shared pet store or café. Puppies come from licensed, ethically run breeders and rescue partners we vet personally, and only attend during their developmentally appropriate socialization window (8 to 14 weeks). Each puppy has free run of the studio and can rest, eat, or step away whenever they want.
One of ten Pups&Yoga studios across Canada, the USA, and Spain. Same format, same standards, every city.
Sixty minutes, three parts.

15 minutes — with puppies
Yoga continues while the puppies roam freely through the studio. Cuddle if they come to you.

Where can I do puppy yoga in Vancouver?
At Pups&Yoga, 4-52 Powell St, in Gastown, one block from Waterfront SkyTrain station. Classes every weekend: 60 minutes (30 min yoga, 15 min with the puppies roaming free, 15 min cuddles), $49. Pick a date above to book.
How do I get into the studio?
Go up to the 4th floor: weâre in studio #4. Street parking is available nearby. Need help on the day? Call 1-888-614-PUPS (1-888-614-7877): it rings our team before and between classes.

What happens in a Pups&Yoga class?
Each class is 60 minutes split into three parts: 30 minutes of guided yoga to warm up and settle in, 15 minutes of yoga while the puppies roam freely through the studio, and 15 minutes of unstructured play time with the puppies. No prior yoga experience required.
Are you affiliated with other Vancouver puppy yoga businesses?
No. Pups&Yoga is its own brand â ten studios across Canada, the USA, and Spain. If you searched and found a similar-sounding business in Vancouver, that's a separate operation. We're the original Pups&Yoga, at 4-52 Powell.
Is there parking?
Yes. Street parking is available on Powell Street and nearby streets. A small parking lot is around the corner. Waterfront SkyTrain station is one block away if you'd rather skip the car.
Where do the puppies come from?
Our puppies come from licensed, ethically run breeders and rescue partners we vet personally. They are typically 8 to 14 weeks old â within their developmentally appropriate socialization window. Each puppy attends only during this window and is never used for back-to-back classes.
Can I adopt one of the puppies?
We don't handle adoptions. If you fall for a puppy, just ask the team at the end of the class and we'll share the breeder's or rescue's contact.
Can I book a private session for a group?
Yes. We host private puppy yoga sessions for corporate events, birthdays, bachelorettes, and brand activations â in our Gastown studio or at your venue anywhere in Metro Vancouver. Visit our Private Events page for a custom quote.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable clothes you can move in, that don't mind a little fur. We provide yoga mats. Water bottles and small towels are welcome. Arrive a few minutes early to settle in. Please leave your own dog at home: only our puppies attend class. More tips in our guide to puppy yoga.
Can I bring my own dog?
No. For the puppies' safety, personal pets are not allowed in class or in the studio, not even on a leash or in a bag. Participants who arrive with a pet may be refused entry, with no refund. Please leave your pet at home: only our puppies attend class.
Is there a minimum age? Do I need yoga experience?
No yoga experience needed: the class is made for beginners. Ages 13+; kids aged 8 to 12 come with an adult. For anyone under 18, a parent or guardian accepts the waiver.
Can kids come? What are the rules during class?
Ages 13+ can come on their own; kids aged 8 to 12 come with an adult; children under 8 can't join the class. During class, for everyone: stay seated on your mat, the puppies come to you; speak softly, no shouting or running. A parent can step out with their child at any time, and our team may suggest a short break if the puppies get stressed.
Can I give a class as a gift?
Yes. Our e-gift cards are delivered by email in 2 minutes, or on the date you choose: see gift cards.
