Built for the Beltline.
We opened in the Beltline because it's where Calgary's young professionals live, work, and unwind. The studio sits on 16 Ave SW â a short walk from downtown, Mission, and Inglewood, with easy LRT access from anywhere in the city.
The studio is a real yoga space, not a shared pet store or café. Puppies come from licensed, ethically run breeders and rescue partners we vet personally, and only attend during their developmentally appropriate socialization window (8 to 14 weeks). Each puppy has free run of the studio and can rest, eat, or step away whenever they want.
One of ten Pups&Yoga studios across Canada, the USA, and Spain. Same format, same standards, every city.
Sixty minutes, three parts.
30 minutes — warm up
Guided yoga to settle in. No puppies yet. Beginner-friendly, no prior experience required.
15 minutes — with puppies
Yoga continues while the puppies roam freely through the studio. Cuddle if they come to you.
15 minutes — free play
Mats away, time on the floor with the puppies. Photos welcome.

What should I bring to class?
Yourself in comfortable clothes. We provide yoga mats. Water bottles and small towels are welcome. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your session.
Can I bring my own dog?
No. For the puppies' safety, personal pets are not allowed in class or in the studio, not even on a leash or in a bag. Participants who arrive with a pet may be refused entry, with no refund. Please leave your pet at home: only our puppies attend class.
Where do the puppies come from?
Our puppies come from licensed, ethically run breeders and rescue partners we vet personally. They are typically 8 to 14 weeks old â within their developmentally appropriate socialization window. Each puppy attends only during this window and is never used for back-to-back classes.
Can I adopt one of the puppies?
We don't handle adoptions. If you fall for a puppy, just ask the team at the end of the class and we'll share the breeder's or rescue's contact.
Can I book a private session for a group?
Yes. We host private puppy yoga sessions for corporate events, birthdays, bachelorettes, and brand activations â in our Beltline studio or at your venue anywhere in Calgary. Visit our Private Events page for a custom quote.
Is there a minimum age? Do I need yoga experience?
No yoga experience needed: the class is made for beginners. Ages 13+; kids aged 8 to 12 come with an adult. For anyone under 18, a parent or guardian accepts the waiver.
Can kids come? What are the rules during class?
Ages 13+ can come on their own; kids aged 8 to 12 come with an adult; children under 8 can't join the class. During class, for everyone: stay seated on your mat, the puppies come to you; speak softly, no shouting or running. A parent can step out with their child at any time, and our team may suggest a short break if the puppies get stressed.
Can I give a class as a gift?
Yes. Our e-gift cards are delivered by email in 2 minutes, or on the date you choose: see gift cards.
