Video game studios run on long creative cycles, tight milestones and a lot of time in front of screens. On February 11, 2026, Beenox, the Québec City game studio, wrapped up a winter workday differently: from 4:15 to 5:15 PM, its employees gathered for a private puppy yoga session with Pups&Yoga. One hour, no controllers, and a room that would soon fill up with puppies.
An end-of-day slot in the middle of winter
Mid-February in Québec City is cold and dark early, and that is exactly when a warm indoor activity makes the most sense. Scheduling the session at the end of the workday also meant it could act as a soft landing: people finish what they are working on, step away from their desks and leave for the evening on a lighter note. It is a format we see often with creative teams, because it does not eat into production time and it does not ask anyone to stay late.

One hour, three movements
A private Puppy Yoga class is built in three parts: about thirty minutes of guided yoga, then fifteen minutes of yoga with the puppies, then fifteen minutes of play, cuddles and photos. It opens with a gentle, all-levels yoga practice led by a certified instructor, designed so that absolute beginners and regular yogis can share the same room comfortably. Next, the puppies are let in and roam among the mats while the class keeps going, which tends to make holding a pose a lot more interesting. The final stretch of the hour is reserved for cuddles and photos.
Our team handles the logistics from start to finish: puppies, mats, playpens, supplies, set-up and clean-up. Hostesses supervise every interaction between people and puppies, and the puppies, raised by the breeders and trusted rescue partners we work with, get regular breaks, water and rest. Their welfare is the first rule of every session we run.

In the organiser's words
After the session, the organiser at Beenox sent us a short note, in French, thanking us and our team and telling us that the activity had been greatly appreciated by their employees.
“Merci beaucoup à vous et votre équipe, l'activité a été fortement appréciée par nos employés.”
— the organiser at Beenox
A team activity that needs no skill tree
Part of the appeal for studios and tech companies is how little it asks of people. No one needs gear, experience or a competitive streak. A class welcomes up to about 20 to 25 people, and bigger teams can be split into several classes with short puppy breaks in between. Sessions can take place at our studio or at your own office.
