In May 2025, two of Montréal's best-known beauty companies chose the same way to slow down for an hour. On May 8 we hosted a private puppy yoga session for L'Oréal, and on May 9 it was Groupe Marcelle's turn. Two teams, back-to-back days, and the same simple format: yoga, puppies and a well-earned pause in the middle of a busy spring.
Two beauty teams, one week in May
Beauty is a fast-moving industry, and spring is rarely a quiet season. A private class gives a team something different from the usual lunch or happy hour: everyone is on the same mat, at the same level, and nobody needs to be good at yoga to enjoy it. Each group had the session to itself, so colleagues could relax without strangers around and simply share the moment.
How a private puppy yoga hour unfolds
Our private Puppy Yoga classes follow a rhythm that works for every group. The first thirty minutes or so are a gentle, all-levels yoga practice led by a certified instructor, enough to stretch, breathe and leave the inbox behind. Then the puppies join in and wander between the mats while the class continues. The last part of the hour is reserved for cuddles and photos, which is usually when the phones come out.
Behind the scenes, our team takes care of everything: the puppies, the mats, the playpens and supplies, the set-up and the clean-up. Our hostesses supervise every interaction, and puppy welfare comes first, with breaks, water and rest built into the session. The puppies come from breeders and trusted rescue partners and are socialised and supervised by our team and their breeder.
